Mayor's Message

Mayor John Rowswell succumbed to illness on August 31, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

First elected in November 2000,  John Rowswell was serving his third term as Mayor of the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

Members of City Council, City staff, and the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie, extend sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mayor John Rowswell.  He will be missed.
