The City of Sault Ste. Marie advises of the following service changes for Family Day operations:
The following facilities will be closed Monday, February 19:

Public Works and Engineering office – 128 Sackville Road. For 24-hour emergency service requests, call 705-759-5201.

Garbage and Recycling Collection
There is no garbage or recycling pickup on Monday, February 19. Both garbage and recycling will be one day late for the remainder of the week.

The Landfill site at 402 Fifth Line East is closed on Saturdays for the season.
The following facilities and services will operate on Monday, February 19:

The Downtown Plaza will be open with skating from noon – 9 p.m. Skate N’ Screen at noon with 'Toy Story' movie and Hounds Viewing Party from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

The Clergue Park Skating Trail is open.

Public Libraries – James L. McIntyre Centennial and the North Branch Library will be open noon - 4 p.m.

John Rhodes Pool – Parent & Child and Lane Swim at 11:15 a.m. – 1 p.m. Public Swim 1:15 p.m. – 3 p.m.

John Rhodes Arena #2 – Public skating 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Transit Service – On Monday, February 19, an hourly schedule will be followed with the first bus departing the terminal at 6:15 a.m. and last bus departing the terminal at 11:15 p.m. Parabus service will run as usual. No Community Bus. For transit information, call 705-759-5438.
