Sault Pride and 2SLGBTQIA+ Network, in partnership with presenting sponsor Village Media, are thrilled to announce the inaugural Rainbow Weekend, a remarkable celebration of diversity, unity and inclusivity hosted aboard two of Sault Ste. Marie’s premier tourism attractions.
Mark your calendars for Friday, August 25 for a unique journey aboard the Agawa Canyon Tour Train as it transforms into the vibrant Rainbow Train. There will be live performances by talented artists, culinary delights, signature drinks and an array of fun activities.
The Rainbow Train features three distinct cars, each catering to diverse preferences. The Party Car serves as a hub of entertainment with a fully licensed bar and music setting the stage for an unforgettable ride. The Family Car is dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for families of all ages while the Quiet Car offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, allowing passengers to bask in the awe-inspiring beauty of the northern landscape.
The next day on Saturday, August 26 at 7.30 p.m., prepare to embark on a two-hour boat journey aboard the Miss Marie Lock Tour as it transforms into the Rainbow Boat. The main deck will feature a dance floor like no other with a world-class drag show and DJ spinning tunes that keep the energy high and the dance floor packed. Delight in delectable hors d’oeuvres and indulge in a fully licensed bar.
