Remembrance Day operations for City facilities and services

• City Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot. The Household Hazardous Waste Depot is closed for the season.

• Public Libraries – James L. McIntyre Centennial and North Branch. Closed November 11 and November 13.

• Seniors Services – Bay Street Active Living Centre 55+ and the Northern Community Centre Active 55+

• Next week (Collection A) is the last week of leaf and yard waste collection (weather permitting). The landfill collects leaf and yard waste in compostable paper bags. To view the leaf and yard waste collection calendar, visit saultstemarie.ca/leafyardwaste. 
• The Household Hazardous Waste Depot is closed for the season.
• The Landfill is closed on Saturdays for the season.  

• John Rhodes Community Centre Pool is open for all regular programming including lessons and swims 
• All arenas (GFL Memorial Gardens, John Rhodes Community Centre Arena and the Northern Community Centre) will be open for scheduled events.
• GFL Memorial Gardens box office is closed Saturday, November 11 but open Monday, November 13.
• Regular transit and Parabus will operate as usual on Saturday, November 11. At 11 a.m. on Saturday, City buses will pull over to observe one minute of silence. For more info, call Sault Transit at 705-759-5438.
