Voter Notification Cards are in the mail
Wednesday, October 5, 2022
Voter Notification Cards for the upcoming municipal election will begin arriving in mailboxes this week.
Electors who do not receive a Voter Notification Card in the mail or have incorrect information on their card can add their name or update their information at
saultstemarie.ca/election2022. The Voter Notification Card shows the elector’s voting location on October 24 and provides details regarding alternative voting options. Electors can verify their information and find their voting place online by using the ‘Voter Services’ tool.
Electors are asked to bring their Voter Notification Card when they vote, along with a piece of identification that shows their name and qualifying address. The Voter Notification Card is not an acceptable piece of identification and is not mandatory to vote.
Sault Ste. Marie Transit will provide free bus service to customers who present their Voter Notification Card on Advance Vote days (October 8, 12 and 15) and on Voting Day (October 24). For further information, contact the election office at
election@cityssm.on.ca or phone 705-989-5610.
If you did not receive a Voter Notification Card, use our Voter Services Tool at
saultstemarie.ca/voterservices to check and/or add/amend your information.
