Information sessions to discuss parking requirements in the City

The City of Sault Ste. Marie is reviewing parking requirements throughout the Municipality. The goal of this study is to review current parking availability, policies and procedures and determine where improvements can enhance the overall parking experience for residents and visitors alike. 
 
As part of this review, City staff are hosting a series of open houses, offering an opportunity for residents, developers, and downtown merchants to gain insights into the study and contribute input into the proposed changes to parking in Sault Ste. Marie.

Open House #1 for Developers
Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2023
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (come and go format)
Location: John Rhodes Centre, 260 Elizabeth Street
 
Open House #2 for the Public
Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2023
Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (come and go format)
Location: John Rhodes Centre, 260 Elizabeth Street
 
Open House #3 for Downtown Merchants and the Public
Date: Thursday, November 2, 2023
Time: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (come and go format)
Location: The Grand Theatre, 641 Queen Street East
