Vote by Mail kits for the 2022 Municipal Election are now available

The period to register to vote by special mail-in ballot for the 2022 Municipal Elections is open. To receive a Vote by Mail kit complete an application at
saultstemarie.ca/votebymail. The last day to register to Vote by Mail is Monday, October 3, 2022. Vote by mail kits will be mailed to registered electors beginning next week.
Electors may also register online and pick up kits at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre after October 3, until October 24, 2022 at 8 p.m.
Completed Vote by Mail kits must be placed in the mail by October 13, 2022 in order to ensure that the ballot is received and counted. After October 13, kits may be hand delivered to the City Clerk’s office during business hours (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) or after hours to the locked drop box in front of City Hall. Completed ballots must be returned by regular mail or by hand delivery to the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre before 8 p.m. on Voting Day.
